About Matthew "Matt"
KW Monmouth Ocean Is PROUD to announce that Matthew Merritt has Joined Keller Williams Realty along with his Mega Team, The Merritt Real Estate Group.
Matt is a lifelong resident of the Central New Jersey area, growing up in Millstone Township. He attended Millstone Township Elementary, Middle School, Allentown High School and graduated from Edison High School. It was then that Matt decided to enter the Real Estate Industry while also attending Brookdale Community College and earning an Associate Degree in Business Administration.
Since the beginning of his career in Real Estate, Matt and his Team have been able to help over 500+ households make their dream of owning a home a reality. In March 2009 Matt decided to expand his education and certifications and at age 22 became one of the youngest Broker- Associates in the state of New Jersey at that time. In 2014 Matt founded the Merritt Real Estate Group which now consists of 13 assistants and agents.
Matt has been recognized as one of the Top Agents in Central NJ. In 2019 He and his team wrote more than $44,000,000 million in volume, earning the NJ Realtors® Circle of Excellence® Award at the Platinum level. Matt has also earned the NJ Realtors® Circle of Excellence® Award at the Bronze, Silver, Gold, or Platinum level consecutively since 2008.
In addition to Real Estate Matt is extremely dedicated to his beautiful Family. His wife Stephanie and their two children, Chloe and Nicholas are his "Big Why" for everything he does. Wrestling also continues to be a passion of his, so Matt gives back to the community as a wrestling coach for local Recreation, Middle, and High School teams as well as being an active volunteer with children’s charitable organizations.
We are thrilled that Matt has decided to take his business to the next level by joining our organization. With his "client first" philosophy paired with Keller Williams’ culture and innovative technology, Matt is sure to continue taking the Industry by storm.
